It’ll be 100 hundred years ago this summer that the St. Francis of Assisi School building first opened its doors to the families of the Louisville Highlands. To mark this historic occasion, the St. Francis Alumni Association is throwing a party. But not just any party. The most unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime bonanza our campus has ever seen. It’s an event you simply cannot miss!
It’ll be The biggest party SFA has seen in 100 years!
The SFA Super Centennial Celebration will be a combination alumni picnic, music fest, and beer fest that will cover the entire SFA campus. There’ll be live bands, food trucks, drinks, prizes, surprise guests, and a whole lot more. So come one, come all, and be sure to mark your calendars for this historic happening!

Friday, June 5th
Awards Dinner
Friday evening, the SFA Alumni Association will host our first-ever gala dinner and awards presentation, featuring a keynote speech by Louisville Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre.
Saturday, June 6th
party at SFA!
The main bash will start Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m.. There’ll be a stage for live music, food trucks, craft beer, and other surprises!

Mass & Donuts
Festivities wrap up with an alumni mass at 9:30 a.m. followed by doughnuts and coffee in the Parish hall at 10:30.

The Future School Fund, an important new fundraising effort, will be unveiled at the Centennial.

The SFA Super Centennial Celebration will include the unveiling of The Future School Fund, an ambitious capital campaign effort designed to ensure St. Francis of Assisi School has what it needs to succeed in the 21st Century.
Planned improvement projects include an addition to the school’s north wing, which will add an elevator to the campus and expand of the science lab facilities. Other major features include a Teacher Endowment Fund to help ensure we can continue to attract and retain the region’s top faculty.
Now Accepting Nominations for The First Ever
Alumni Spirit Awards.
As part of this event, the Alumni Association will be honoring six of our alums with our first annual Alumni Spirit Awards. The Spirit Awards were created to recognize alumni who have distinguished themselves in the areas of service, faith, and achievement, core values of St. Francis of Assisi School.
You may nominate any living alum for one of the six awards — including yourself! Nominations will be received through April 15, 2026. Winners will be notified before May 1.
