It’ll be 100 hundred years ago this summer that the St. Francis of Assisi School building first opened its doors to the families of the Louisville Highlands. To mark this historic occasion, the St. Francis Alumni Association is throwing a party. But not just any party. The most unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime bonanza our campus has ever seen. It’s an event you simply cannot miss!
It’ll be The biggest party SFA has seen in 100 years!
The SFA Super Centennial Celebration will be a combination alumni picnic, music fest, and beer fest that will cover the entire SFA campus. There’ll be live bands, food trucks, drinks, prizes, surprise guests, and a whole lot more. So come one, come all, and be sure to mark your calendars for this historic happening!

Friday, June 5th
Awards Dinner
Friday evening, the SFA Alumni Association will host our first-ever gala dinner and awards presentation, featuring a keynote speech by Louisville Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre.
Saturday, June 6th
party at SFA!
The main bash will start Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m.. There’ll be a stage for live music, food trucks, craft beer, and other surprises!

Mass & Donuts
Festivities wrap up with an alumni mass at 9:30 a.m. followed by doughnuts and coffee in the Parish hall at 10:30.

The Future School Fund, an important new fundraising effort, will be unveiled at the Centennial.
Unveiling SFA’s New School Capital Campaign
The SFA Super Centennial Celebration will include the unveiling of The Future School Fund, a $2.7 million capital campaign effort created to ensure St. Francis of Assisi School has what it needs to succeed for a FURTHER one hundred years!
Planned improvement projects include an addition to the school’s north wing, which will add an elevator to the campus and expand of the science lab, classroom and pre-K facilities. Other major features include tuition support and a Teacher Endowment Fund to help ensure we can continue to attract and retain the region’s top faculty.

The Centennial Needs Volunteers!
We need volunteer workers for all phases of the centennial, from servers to concession workers to decorations, grounds, lighting, and cleanup. If you consider yourself more a helper more than a partier and you want to earn the thanks and appreciation of the entire SFA community, then we want YOU to join US…the few, the proud — the workforce!
